Project: Brand Identity Design
Duration: 2022
Description: The Human Potentialists, a benefit corporation, was established with the noble purpose of generating revenue for non-profit organizations, specifically The Enneagram Prison Project – the original inspiration behind this remarkable venture. As a self-awareness training company specializing in Enneagram training for individuals, therapists, and corporations, The Human Potentialists bring a unique approach to teaching that stems from the educational style birthed in the Enneagram Prison Project.
When tasked with creating their logo, I had the privilege of consulting with the founder to understand her vision. It became clear that she wanted the dandelion to serve as the primary symbol for The Human Potentialists – representing the seed of potential inherent within every human being.
To bring this concept to life, I embarked on abstracting a blooming dandelion in its seed stage. This design choice beautifully captures both growth and possibility. Additionally, I ensured that the icon maintained a human-like quality to symbolize how it intertwines with people and their potential.
The central circular shape of the logo holds significant meaning as well. Divided into three sections, it represents not only the three centers of intelligence but also reflects upon the law of one depicted in the Enneagram of Personality symbol. This thoughtful incorporation adds depth and complexity to convey The Human Potentialists' profound ideas.

Project: The Human Potentialists (THP) Workbook
Duration: 2021-2022
Description: It was a natural progression for me to transition from the EPP workbooks to a new brand, THP. Using much of the same educational content derived from the Prison Project, I rebranded the materials and infographics to reflect the THP color palette, fonts, and brand-appropriate visuals. This workbook is intended for adult learners in corporate, executive coaching, and educational fields. The soft pastel color palette is well-suited for an audience of empathetic psychologists, therapists, and social workers.
I chose a 10x10 inch orientation for the workbook to create a user-friendly and visually appealing design that meets the needs of adult learners. This square format enhances readability and allows for creative content layouts, making it ideal for engaging our target audience of psychologists, therapists, and corporate professionals. Additionally, its portability and compatibility with standard printing practices facilitate easy distribution and use.
